JEM-1400為針對生物、高分子等低對比及易受電子束損害特性的最佳解決方案，其高對比影像設計，搭配 Cryo transfer holder 的樣品降溫及傳輸功能可讓樣品在觀察中更為穩定。此外數位影像CCD 系統提供了影像及動態觀察的即時訊息紀錄。
