The Foreign Language Center of the College of Liberal Arts evolved from the “Language Laboratory of the Department of Foreign Languages and Literature,” which was founded in August, 1970. With over four decades of development, the Center has grown into a fully-fledged institution aiming to serve the needs for foreign language teaching and learning of the University and the community. Currently, the Center is located in the first and second floor of the Hsiu-Chi Building, with up-to-date audio-visual and computer-mediated facilities. The goals of the Center are, on the one hand, to facilitate the conduction of foreign language courses for the university and local residents, and on the other hand, to serve as a certified testing center of foreign languages in southern Taiwan.Fingerprint
