Art education plays an important role in modern education, and the teaching objectives of artistic literacy include; cultivating an awareness of aesthetics, inspiring students’ cultural creativity, expanding the boundaries of learning, and immersing daily life learning in the arts, which should lead to changes in thinking about the future and creativity. National Cheng Kung University has inherited the cultural traditions of the Ancient Tainan City, and aims to be an outstanding comprehensive university. While sustainably developing its foundation in Engineering and Science, the university also aims to increase its standard of art and humanities.
