本研究所探究之創新技術有助於永續的建築設計方案設計，使未來的建成環境更符合永續發展目標。藉由降低技術門檻並提升業界的技術力，使整個業界不僅對於技術整合的永續建築設計意識及意願提升，更有能力進行永續設計的實踐，強化建築設計業的社會責任。此外，本研究也將為台灣大學建築系的建築設計教育帶來設計技術的優化與革新，整體提升未來學術領域和實務領域的潛在能力，傳播未來永續的展望。
