Project Details
Description
The purposes of this study are: (1) to construct the Teachers’ Teaching Emotions Scales for junior high school teachers, (2) to analyze the consistency coefficient and occasion specificity of teachers’ teaching emotions and compare the state-trait components of teachers’ teaching emotions, (3) to investigate the latent change of teachers’ teaching emotions from 2020 to 2022 via true intraindividual change models, (4) to verify the goodness of fit between empirically observed data and the reciprocal causal model of teachers’ teaching emotions, and (5) to test of reciprocal effects model of teacher and student emotions. About 170, 490, and 359 teachers and their about 4440 students will be selected in Taiwan. They will be measured each year from 2020 to 2022. The data will be analyzed by confirmatory factor analysis, latent state-trait models, multi-sample analysis, true intraindividual change models, and multilevel structural equation modeling.
