Abstract
Wèi State was an important vassal in the Spring and Autumn Period; however no scholar has ever sorted out the genealogy of Qīngs in Wèi State. This article takes Chūn Qiū Jīng and Zuǒ Zhuán as the scope to elucidate the Qīngs in Wèi State in successive dynasties. There were five big families that have served as Qīng for more than three generations. They were clan Níng, clan Shí, clan Kǒng, clan Běi-gōng, clan Dà-shū. Those who have served for more than two generations were clan Sūn and clan Gōng-shū. According to the summary of this article, the percentage of timeframe that Monarchs in Wèi State had six Qīngs or five Qīngs were 47.06% and that was 160 years. The total timeframe of Spring and Autumn Period was 255 years, and Wèis' were about 62.75% of it. Inferring in a quantitative way, Wèi State, Jìn State, Zhèng State and Sòng State all had the system of six Qīngs.
