Abstract

From February 8th to 9th, the reconnaissance team consisted of NCREE and NCKU Architecture Department completed the investigation of nonstructural components in buildings used for the public, including schools, hospitals, the airport and Taiwan International Ports Corporation. Based on the survey results, it can be seen that the seismic performance of the non-structural components in critical buildings need to be improved to reduce the impact on life safety, financial losses, and operations of buildings.
