Abstract
A two-phase numerical model for viscous and incompressible fluids is presented and is validated for several cases. The rising of a large air bubble is simulated to investigate model's capability to reproduce the physical process. Then, accuracy is analyzed by comparing numerical solutions with analytical solutions for stationary and internal waves. Finally, simulations of a dambreak wave and of a breaking wave propagating over an impermeable ramp are performed in order to evaluate the influence of air flows in the modeling.
