A compressed video with fast encryption scheme

Abstract

Based on the encryption scheme proposed by D. Xie and C. C. J. Kuo, we proposed a chaos-based encryption scheme in which a chaotic stream cipher is used as the secret key. Since the generation of chaotic signals is of low cost, our scheme is more efficient than the original one. Experiments showed that the images with DC and some ACs encrypted are incomprehesible and the encryption time is 19.72% of the total computation time if all entropy encoder output is encrypted.
