Abstract
A novel dual-mode band-pass filter with a cross-shaped resonator and three ring resonators has been designed and implemented. The proposed structure is different from the conventional dual-mode band-pass filter. The designed dual-mode band-pass filter has a very sharp attenuation rate by two transmission zeros, and high spurious suppression by the band-stop effect of the three ring resonators. The experiments show good agreement with the simulations.
