Abstract
A four-wavelength dense-wavelength-division-multiplexing system for 256-QAM digital signals over a 4-km multimode fibers transmission was presented. Transmission was achieved using 252 simulated continuous wave carriers from four different carrier generators. Results indicated that the system could be used for gigabit Ethernet application, which could interooperate with a high-speed data transmission network.
