Abstract
A hybrid switching method for full-bridge inverter is proposed to improve thermal management. The proposed method obtains good output performance with lower switching loss than that in conventional PWM full-bridge inverter and also equalizes power losses of the four switches. Equalization of power losses results naturally in thermal equalization of the switches, thus improving thermal management and circuit reliability.
