Abstract

This paper focuses on the sound of heeled shoes. First, the paper will point out the importance of sound in the design field. Even though sound design is a key point of product design, few paper have studied it. In our daily lives, most of the products make sounds. This research looks at the sounds of heeled shoes. We will use SD method to do the experiment. In the end we hope to know what people feel about the different sounds, the difference between male and female perceptions, and the effect of different materials on the sense of the sound.
