Abstract

This paper proposes a wireless power transfer system with load transient enhancement via a transmitter-side regulator, featuring a true-wireless estimation of receiver load information. In the transmitter-side regulator, a transmitter IC is implemented in 0.5μm CMOS process. The measured results show 400μs and 300μs transient time for 500mA step-up and step-down of the load current, respectively.
