Abstract

With the accumulation of digital information, make use of knowledge in any time and in any place are the next goals, then certainly in the information technology environment will impact and change the learning methods, such as the urgency of the learning demand, the initiative acquirement of the knowledge, the mobility of learning place, the interaction of learning process, the situation of the learning activity and integration of learning content. This paper outlines a new model for supporting seamless learning and authentic learning in ubiquitous computing environment. The model regards both action learning theory and situated cognition theory as the foundation of concept. We utilize the features of ubiquitous computing technology to support the foundation to become the ubiquitous learning environment. In the learning environment, in order to reach the ideal of seamless learning and authentic learning, we offer a serial of procedures. These procedures are designed as perceive the activities of learner in the dynamical environment, offer personal education service to support learning activity at right time and right place, record and analyze history of learner, recommend learning feedback proactively according to learning output.
