Abstract

A 4×4 fiber-optic switch based on double-sided mirrors for reconfigurable OADM design was presented. It included two circulators and three fiber Bragg gratings. Bragg wavelengths can be switched by rotating the double-sided mirrors. The function of the switch can be extended to more wavelengths by cascading the switch in series.
