Abstract
This work has investigated some methods to solve the problems of non-steady operation and temperature interference which were easy to find in the shear horizontal surface acoustic wave (SH-SAW) sensing applications such as the gas sensor, liquid sensor and immunosensor. A programmable PLL circuit and independent LO input were applied to the multi-mixer to make it stable and accurate. A novel calibration and a precise temperature control were further used to reduce the temperature interference ten times. This system had good long-term stability and detected to ethanol successfully. Eventually, this system also clearly identified saline solution, orange juice, and ion supply drink.
