abstract = "This paper presents a novel ultra-compact and lowinsertion loss 77-GHz on-chip bandpass filter (BPF) fabricated with a 0.18-μm standard CMOS process. The stepped-impedance resonators (SIRs) used in this filter allow for more freedom to adjust design parameters and yield a transmission zero at the right side of the passband. The other transmission zero is produced by two-path mechanism. The transmission zeros are located at 32 and 109 GHz, and the band-edge selectivity is much improved. The entire chip size of the proposed filter is 182×393 μm2, and the core size is 56×353 μm2. The proposed filter with a center frequency of 77 GHz exhibits an insertion loss of less than 2.9.dB. The good agreement between the simulation and measurement results is obtained.",
