A product conceptualization strategy based on crowd-innovation

Abstract

In this work, a product conceptualization strategy based on crowdinnovation is proposed consisting of two sub-systems: crowdsourcing concept generation and collection sub-system (CCGC), and concept screening and evaluation sub-system (CSE). Specifically, a crowdsourcing development approach based on neuro-fuzzy network is established in CCGC with careful considerations regarding target analysis and task allocation. An improved concept evaluation and selection approach based on domain ontology and fuzzy clustering is established in CSE for dealing with crowdsourcing results more efficiently. To illustrate the proposed strategy, a cased study of future PC design was presented.
