N2 - This paper reports on the implementation of wireless remote supervisory control of motor driving system based on Mobile Pocket-PC. The supervisory functions include control on motor rotation and speed; monitoring on system parameters and operating states. Because the motor control platform is no longer confined in the limited working field but can be mobilized to anywhere at anytime, the integration of manufactory process would become more convenient whereas wireless communication network is available. Test results verify the feasibility of the proposed platform to achieve wireless remote supervisory control.
