Abstract
This paper presents a SAS macro for a simulation study of comparing a new variant of hot-deck imputation with mean imputation for missing values, in which a simple algorithm proposed by Bebbington for carrying out simple random sampling without replacement was employed to draw repeated random samples efficiently. A simulated example of drawing repeated random samples from a regional survey of obesity in school children was used to demonstrate the SAS macro.
