A segregated-implicit scheme for solving the incompressible Navier-Stokes equations

Abstract

The proposed segregated-implicit (SI) scheme, which is based on the artificial compressibility method, is discretized by the finite difference numerical scheme and verified by simulating a shear-driven cavity flow. The current results demonstrate that the SI scheme is a simple algorithm capable of fast solving the incompressible Navier-Stokes equations.
