Abstract
In this work, a recursive algorithm to solve fin problems with temperature-dependent thermal conductivity is given. The algorithm is based on the Taylor series solution. The results are compared with the solutions obtained by the Adomian decomposition method (ADM) and with the numerical solutions as well. The results of the comparisons have shown that the ADM is just an approximation of the present study and the accuracy of the solution is also worse than the present algorithm.
