Advanced and applications in vehicular Ad Hoc networks

Abstract

Significant effort has been made to explore the development of wireless vehicular ad hoc network technologies about communication, networking, and applications. A good communication protocol design can achieve highly reliable, highly scalable, and high performance. It is important to improve the non-safety applications and reduce the occurrence of collision. Many national and international projects have been undertaken by government, industry, and academic institutions devoted to VANETs. Based on the review results, 13 high quality research papers were selected to explore these developments.
