Abstract

In recent years, air quality in Taipei frequently exceeds the ambient air quality standard due to emission from large amount of vehicles and civil construction. Cutting down of air pollutants emission is one of the major control measures. Thus, air pollution emission inventory is the first step in making proper pollution control measures. In order to understand the evolution of air pollution in future, the authors study this problem by analyzing and estimating the air pollution in 1986, 1991, 1996 and 2001 respectively. Air pollution control measures are evaluated based on these data.
