Abstract

In aviation system, the real operation capability relies on the maintaining aircraft availability in this fleet. However, high availability aircraft operation depends on the efficient logistics management. This paper focuses on three management aspects of aircraft system and logistics of dispatch, maintenance, and supplies, and further integration into an enhanced logistics management database according to their cross relationship. The logistic management planning can be forwarded to mission planning phase to derive the following demands and costs. Based on this concept, this paper starts from an aviation logistic management database planning, design and construction considering the cross relationship and unification of information system, referring to decision-making mechanism, then continues to build the Aircraft Logistics Management Information System (ALMIS) with applied programs of fleet arrangement on dispatch, maintenance and supply. The proposed system is demonstrated using a practical fleet in discussion.
