Abstract

This paper presents an efficient and simple agricultural data gathering platform based on internet of things (IOT) and big data. This work according to proposed system can achieve low cost of control. Instead of using cloud-based computing system, this study uses the user guide interface (GUI) as fog computing near the greenhouse. The use of GUI platform system offers two advantages, as follows: first, to provide a real-time sensor data in the greenhouse to cloud; second, to decrease the computational loading of cloud system. Moreover, this work combines IOT with plastic structure cultivation which uses aeroponics system. The combination enables a simple controller.
