Abstract

Creativity is an important feature of human intelligence, and a challenge of artificial intelligence. In this paper, we propose an intelligent control system with creativity based on artificial intelligence technologies, namely AICCS. The AICCS consists of four basic modules, i.e. controller, receptor, adaptor, and creator. The receptor is proposed to sense the energy of inner system and the variation of the outer environment. In order to adapt various environments, the adaptor is built for exploring the proper behavioral rules. The purpose of creator is to produce the creative and well-adapted behavioral rules while the system is unbalanced or the environment is abnormal. An animat colony is presented to demonstrate the proposed model. The simulation results showed the animat colony performed the adaptive and creative behaviors successfully.
