Abstract

-- a knowledge-based expert system for generator maintenance scheduling is presented in this paper. in the proposed system, the generator maintenance scheduling is considered as a constrained optimization problem. for different system operation conditions the objective function varies. An operation index is presented to determine an appropriate strategy for decision-making process. in this paper, the TPC system with practical conditions is studied. This prototype system is implemented by Turbo-Prolog into PC-AT. TPC 1986 and 1987 GMS are used as case studies and the results are demonstrated.
