An Intelligent Interactive Multimedia Control Mechanism and Development System

Abstract

In this paper, we propose some intelligent control schemes to solve multimedial synchronization issues. These intelligent control schemes can be adopted in the kernel of a distributed multimedia application to process reverse, skip, freeze-restart, and scale interactions. An interactive distributed multimedia development system is developed on SUN SPARC workstations based on the proposed intelligent control schemes.
