Abstract

In this paper, we present a genetic algorithm as the optimization procedure in the design of a two-phase multilayered acoustic cloak. Examples on refining the material parameters of anisotropic layers as well as thickness distributions are demonstrate. Numerical results show that the proposed optimization can efficiently reduce the scattering fields with simpler structure configurations.
