Abstract
The analysis and control of a soft-switched isolated boost converter is proposed to solve the problem caused by the adopted control circuit. The isolated soft-switched topologies and technologies provide the advantages of unity power factor, low input current total harmonic distortion (THD) and galvanic isolation, for applications in an uninterruptible power supply (UPS). A stabilized power Ps is introduced for stabilizing the output voltage and preventing the converter from destroying in load change. Experimental results verified the proposed analysis and control method from a 900W isolated soft-switched boost converter.
