Abstract
X-ray experiments indicate that the carbonaceous samples are sub-graphitic in crystallinity and turbostratic in structure is 3.52A with the peak-width ratio of 1 indicating its d2 category based on Landis' classification. Indicates that the carbonaceous materials and the host rock formation were of non-marine deposits and later subjected to a low grade metamorphism at temperature between 300-350oC. -from Authors
