Abstract

A vast increase of domestic flights has resulted in serious flight jamming and caused frequent flow controls in Taipei Airport (TSA). To ease air traffic problem, an arrival scheduling for TSA using fuzzy logic algorithm is proposed. A set of verbal descriptive rules to determine the arrival sequence and landing time is established. Case studies are simulated and demonstrated. Feasibility analysis on runway utilization and delay reduction is discussed to support its performance.
