Abstract

Air defense is regarded as the most important defense power, especially for islands or isolated areas. Early warning by the airspace war controller is an extremely sensitive load and requires very fast and accurate responses. Tasks of the war control domain are threat assessment and resource allocation. A knowledge-based system to solve the airspace defense war control problem is presented. A sand-table case study for an isolated area is demonstrated. It proposes an automatic aid to the war controller for appropriate monitoring over the covered airspace.
