Abstract

By using the concept of the plastic spin, we extend the endochronic first-order ordinary differential constitutive equation to describe the material response in finite strain range. Experimental data of 70:30 brass, Al-1100, Ni-200 and 304L stainless steel found in literature are used for comparison. We will show that the theoretical results are in qualitative agreement with our experimental finding.
