Abstract
We study the exclusive decays of B→f0(980)K(*) in the framework of perturbative QCD by identifying f0(980) as the composition of s̄s and n̄n = (ūu + d̄d)/ √2. We find that the influence of the n̄n content on the predicted branching ratios is crucial. We discuss the possible rescattering and gluonium states which could enhance the branching ratios of the considered decays. We point out that the CP asymmetry in B →f0(980)KS,L could be a new explorer of sin 2φ1.
