Abstract
Stabilization of discrete two-time-scale systems by block implementation is considered. Block dynamical equations for the original system and slow and fast subsystems are examined. It is shown that the eigenvalue assignment problem for subsystems, in both the state and output feedback cases, can be exploited to stabilize the full system by adding certain extra compensators.
