Abstract
The Boundary Integral Equation Method is extended to solve three-dimensional, linearized, transient water wave problems. Only the radiation problems concerning long waves generated by an upthrust block of the sea bed are considered. Due to the linearization, free-surface boundary conditions are applied on the still water level rather than the actual location of the free surface. Thus, the problem becomes a fixed boundary problem. A radiation boundary condition is used to truncate the computational domain.
