Building healthy ageing: The dynamics of self-fulfillment in old age

Abstract

This study examines the achievement of self-fulfillment in the conceptualization of good old age by providing theoretical and cultural implications for elder's technology development. The method employed interviews with 30 people aged from 70 to 80. The findings show the relationship and dynamics in the self-fulfillment process, drawing on a research conceptual framework and propositions for the future development and study in aging issues. A more comprehensive framework and the future development of wellbeing toward elderly is discussed.
