Most of the previous group signature schemes were interactive in the verification procedure between signer and verifier. At JW-ISC'95 conference, Park et al. (1995) proposed a non-interactive one using the technique of γth residuosity. Afterwards, Kim et al. proposed a simpler but functionally equivalent scheme to reduce the computational complexity. However, this article will show that both group signature schemes cannot identify the original signer uniquely even if the signer is honest to follow the signing procedure.
