Abstract

EM energy penetration into a fat-layer abdomen model of man body by a radiating dipole antenna located very close to the abdomen surface (the distance is less than 1 cm) was studied. Coupled integral equations (CIE) and Moment Method (MoM) were used to numerically compute the EM interaction and the energydeposition distribution inside the body, especially, the abdomen. Numerical examples at the 840-MHz portable communication frequency band are presented.
