Abstract
An incompressible multi-fluid surface-capturing method is employed to compute droplet dynamics. The free surface is treated as contact surface in the fluid system and is captured automatically by the enforcement of conservation laws. The topology change of the free surface during merging and breaking can be handled without any special attention. A continuum surface force model is used to compute the surface tension. The binary collision of equal-size water droplets at different Weber numbers and different overlaps are computed.
