N2 - Due to the high penetration of renewable energy sources, such as photovoltaic (PV) generation, the voltage and frequency of the utility grid becomes unstable. To solve this issue, the converter-based power conditioning system (PCS) provides an effective solution for solving the instability problem and improving the resilience of grid. In this research, a grid-connected power conditioning system including PV and battery hybrid power converters is modeled and analyzed. The control strategy is also presented. Finally, the dc bus voltage variation between PV/battery and inverter, and the performance of the inverter output are investigated with the simulation results under various scenarios.
