Abstract

In this paper, a current-mode design methodology to implement the fuzzy linguistic hedge 'contrast intensification' operation for adjusting the membership function of fuzzy set is proposed. The 'contrast intensification' operation has the effect of reducing the fuzziness of fuzzy set. Simulation results show the merit of high accuracy of this circuit. Based on the proposed circuit, a real-time adaptive fuzzy logic control system can be developed.
