Abstract

In this paper, a current-mode fuzzy linguistic hedge circuit ″more or less″ designed with the MOS transistors operated in saturation region is proposed. The ″more or less″ operation has the effect of adjusting the membership function of fuzzy set to its square-root value. According to the proposed hedge circuit, a real-time adaptive fuzzy logic control system by dint of the modification of fuzzy membership function can be developed. Likewise, the design constraints of the proposed circuit are also discussed. The proposed circuit has been simulated by SPICE, and the simulation results show the merit of high accuracy can be observed.
