Abstract

In this paper, a design and implementation of boost current-mode controlled dc-dc converter is presented. The output V 0 is designed to be 36V with load ranging from 30m A to 330mA capable of driving at most 10 LEDs in several power types. The proposed boost converter was fabricated in TSMC O.25μm IP3M 5V model CMOS technology with an input supply voltage ranging from 4.1V to 6.3V, which covers the voltage range of lithium-battery to USB supply voltage. The maximum power efficiency of the proposed design is 89%.
