Abstract
In this paper, we present the design and implementation of an integrated fuzzy logic controller (IFLC) for a DC-servomotor system. The proposed strategy is intended to improve the performance of the original control system by use of a fuzzy logic controller (FLC) as the motor load changes. Both computer simulation and experimental implementation demonstrate that IFLC is particularly effective in position control of a DC-servomotor under shaft frictional load, inertia disk load and mixed frictional/inertial load conditions. A stability verification procedure for the integrated fuzzy logic control system is also provided.
