Abstract
Magnetic suspension technology has been developed into very mature state for system design and application. It presents non-friction, non-contact and non-noise in operation. This paper presents a magnetic vibration actuator using hybrid magnetic suspension design with feedback control. Magnetic field simulation is applied to establish system design parameters and identify its system characteristics for implementation. From simulation results, a system dynamic model is obtained to lead for further design and fabrication. In this paper, the proposed hybrid magnetic vibration actuator design has made a prototype for experiments and performance verification. A closed-loop PID controller is implemented to improve the vibration absorption performance with different conditions.
