Abstract
The design of fuzzy simplex sliding-mode controller for a linear multivariable system is developed in this paper. Two types of fuzzy controllers are examined, one is the fuzzy singleton vector control type and the other one is the fuzzy term-set type. The control rules are derived from the simplex sliding mode control scheme and the fuzzy decision logic. Finally, an example is proposed to illustrate the advantages of these two fuzzy controllers.
